Fifteen years ago, one of TV’s most iconic sitcoms taped its last laugh. “Roseanne” was about a regular family with regular problems, like the time Becky farted during her student council meeting. At the same time, “Roseanne” also handled issues like addiction and domestic violence with wit and warmth. Our friends at Snakkle.com track down the stars of the show to see where they are today.

Roseanne Barr:
Working-class hero Roseanne revolutionized the role of women in comedy with the creation of her titular series in 1988. Roseanne Conner was smart, witty, political, and opinionated—all without being a 5’10” blonde bombshell. In real life, Roseanne continues to be outspoken in her comedy and other ventures. She is also one of the first women in TV comedy to secure the title of Executive Producer on almost every project she worked on --going back to 1990. In 2011, Barr produced starred in the reality series “Roseanne’s Nuts,” and in 2012 announced her bid for the presidency. She didn’t win.

Michael Fishman:
The only other man in the house besides Dan (until baby Jerry came along), D.J. may have had more awkward moments than Darlene and Becky put together. Most recently, Fishman has been behind the camera, working with cameras and lighting. A longtime friend of Roseanne Barr in real life, he was spotted on an episode of “Roseanne’s Nuts” in 2011.

Sara Gilbert
Mistress of snark Darlene Conner took after her mother—she was quick with a one-liner but really was a big softie. Like her former “Roseanne” castmates Johnny Galecki and Laurie Metcalf, Darlene has appeared on “The Big Bang Theory,” but you can see her every day co-hosting ABC’s “The Talk.”
Alicia “Lecy” Goranson:
As the original Becky, Lecy Goranson did well in school, got a lot of boyfriends…and had a big butt--according to Darlene. In season 5, Goranson left the show to attend college at Vassar, but later returned in season 8. “Becky Number 2” back then was played by today’s “Scrub” star Sarah Chalke who seamlessly stepped in. Recently, Goranson has been spotted on “Law & Order: SVU, Fringe,” 2011’s “Naked in a Fishbowl” and landed a small part on 2012 TV series “Damages.”
