Russell Wilson is an American athlete competing in the National Football League as the quarterback for the Denver Broncos. Wilson has played professional football for a decade and is considered one of the more competitive quarterbacks currently in the NFL. For the vast majority of his NFL career, Wilson played with the Seattle Seahawks until transferring to the Denver Broncos for the 2022 season. He has numerous football accolades and holds multiple league records due to his effective play style on the field.
He has the NFL record for the most passing yards in a playoff game as a rookie at 385 yards and earned the most fourth-quarter touchdown passes in the 2017 season. Before joining the NFL, Wilson competed in both college football and baseball at North Carolina State University until he transferred to the University of Wisconsin in 2011 for football. He ended his college football career on a strong note by leading Wisconsin to the Rose Bowl in 2012.
