Imprisoned in Iran

The American woman released by Iran after more than a year in prison flew out of the country to the nearby Gulf nation of Oman to be reunited with her mother after a $500,000 bail was paid to win her freedom.

Sept. 14: Released American hiker Sarah Shourd leaves the airport in tehran in this image taken from TV. Iran freed Shourd on $500,000 bail, more than a year after she was detained along the Iraq border. However, authorities said they were not considering the immediate release of the two companions arrested with her. (Reuters)
