Naomi Campbell: Timeline of Bad Behavior

September 1998: Campbell is accused of punching personal assistant Georgina Galanis and hitting her with a telephone at a hotel while in Toronto to film a movie. Campbell later pleaded guilty and was released.

June 2000: Personal assistant and secretary Vanessa Frisbee accuses Campbell of attacking her. The case is dismissed by a British court.

February 2001: Campbell allegedly loses her temper when she is refused entry to a members-only boutique.

February 2001: Campbell scraps with a photographer outside her boyfriend's Chelsea home.

March 27, 2004: Campbell was awarded $5,000 in damages for articles in the British tabloid the Mirror that had exposed her as a drug addict and gone into the details of her treatment.

August 2004: Housemaid Millicent Burton, 44, accuses the model of kicking, scratching and slapping her in Campbell's Park Avenue apartment.

September 2004: Former assistant Simone Craig, 30, files assault and battery charges in Manhattan federal court, alleging Campbell held her hostage in a Los Angeles hotel. The case is later dismissed.

Sept. 11, 2004: Campbell discusses her past drug use in an interview with veteran British talk show host Michael Parkinson.

March 2005: Campbell reportedly beats an assistant with a BlackBerry during an argument in Brazil. A spokesman denies it.

March 30, 2006: Campbell is arraigned on a charge of second-degree assault, this time for allegedly throwing a cell phone at her housekeeper, Ana Scolavinos head.

June, 26, 2006: Gaby Gibson accused Campbell of "personal injuries," "employment discrimination," "civil assault," "civil battery" and other complaints. Gibson said the catwalker hit her on Jan. 17, called her names and threatened to have her arrested. Gibson told the New York Post that Campbell got upset after being unable to find a specific pair of jeans.

July 14, 2006: Naomi Campbell was sued Thursday by another former employee, this one a young Florida woman who claims the supermodel abused her verbally and physically on three continents. Amanda Brack, 20, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., accused Campbell of assault, battery, false imprisonment and infliction of emotional distress in incidents that started a month after she began working for her in February 2005, court papers say.

July 21, 2006: Naomi Campbell was arrested after allegedly causing a disturbance outside a former boyfriend's home, a British newspaper reported Friday. The Sun tabloid said police were called after Campbell, 36, arrived at the house in the early hours of July 10 seeking the return of some belongings. She was freed without charge several hours later. Police retrieved the belongings, "and the woman left the scene," the force said in a statement. "No further action will be taken."

Sept. 27, 2006: Supermodel Naomi Campbell, accused of assaulting her maid with a cell phone, failed to show up in court Wednesday, puzzling the judge who asked for but never got a reason for her absence. Manhattan Criminal Court Judge James Gibbon responded by issuing a bench warrant for Campbell's arrest, but then decided not to put it into effect after Campbell's attorney explained that he and the prosecutor had an agreement.

Oct. 26, 2006: Model Naomi Campbell returned to a London police station after allegedly being involved in an altercation the day before, police and news reports said. Metropolitan Police said that officers were called to an address in central London in the afternoon and arrested a 36-year-old woman at 1:20 p.m. She was released on bail. A British news broadcaster reported that Campbell was arrested after a woman alleged she had been assaulted by the supermodel.

March 23, 2007: Campbell completed five days of community service for the New York City Department of Sanitation. She dressed like she was going to a party the entire time. Campbell's work stint had been ordered by a Manhattan Criminal Court judge, who also demanded she take anger management classes and pay $363.32 in restitution (and more in hospital bills) to her former housekeeper, Ana Scolavino - who had accused Campbell of throwing a cell phone at her because Scolavino could not find her jeans.
