The South Carolina Gamecocks won the 2024 NCAA women's March Madness tournament and have begun their quest to win three out of four.

But they've already hit their first bump in the road.

The Gamecocks won the national title in 2022, lost in the Final Four in 2023 and then won the title again last season. But in each of those seasons, they won at least their first 12 games.

In their sixth game of the season, they fell 77-62 at UCLA. Now, the Gamecocks now sit at 10-1 now that they've bounced back after that one blemish.

Are the Gamecocks still atop the oddsboard to make it two in a row?

Let's take a full look at the early NCAA tournament betting board at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Dec. 17.

NCAA Women's Tournament Winner 2025 odds:

South Carolina: +290 (bet $10 to win $39 total)
UConn: +300 (bet $10 to win $40 total)
Notre Dame: +425 (bet $10 to win $32.50 total)
USC: +600 (bet $110 to win $70 total)
Texas: +750 (bet $10 to win $85 total)
UCLA: +900 (bet $10 to win $100 total)

Despite the early season loss, South Carolina is still the favorite to win it all, shortening to +290 from +300 over the two weeks.

UCLA, which handed the Gamecocks that defeat and is the No. 1 team in the country for the first time in program history, is sixth on the board, behind USC and Notre Dame teams that have both suffered losses.

UConn remained in second at +300. The Huskies already have two ranked wins on the season.
