For the third consecutive week, Shedeur Sanders maintains his position as the favorite to get chosen first in the 2025 NFL draft.
However, this week, his odds are noticeably shorter.
At the end of April, Sanders opened as the favorite in this spot. But as recently as two weeks ago, his odds had gotten as long as +850, dropping him to fourth on the list.
Now he's back on top with the shortest odds at +300, shortening slightly from +410 over the last week.
Colorado was idle in Week 10, but in the Buffaloes' Week 9 34-23 win over Cincinnati, Sanders passed for 323 yards and two touchdowns.
He complemented that effort with his ground game, rushing for one TD with his legs.
Let's take a look at the odds to be the No. 1 pick in the 2025 draft at FanDuel Sportsbook as of Nov. 5.
2025 NFL DRAFT NO. 1 PICK ODDS:
Shedeur Sanders, Colorado: +300 (bet $10 to win $40 total)
Cam Ward, Miami: +600 (bet $10 to win $70 total)

After Sanders is Miami's Cam Ward.
The Hurricanes' QB's 400 passing yards against Duke helped move him to +600 from +650.
Shedeur's teammate Travis Hunter rounds out the top three, staying put at +750 for the third week in a row.
"If Hunter were to focus on just one of the positions he plays, he is talented enough to warrant a top-10 draft selection. If teams feel that he is able to play both positions in the NFL as dominantly as he has for Colorado, he just might be the No. 1 overall selection — which is exactly where I placed him in my early mock draft," FOX Sports NFL Draft analyst Rob Rang wrote about Hunter.
Georgia's Carson Beck is one player whose odds have fallen in this spot.
The UGA quarterback threw three interceptions in the Dawgs' 34-20 win over Florida and his No. 1 pick futures dropped to +1500 from +750.
Quinn Ewers from Texas also saw his odds fall, moving to +1600 from +1100 during the Longhorns' bye week.
Alabama's Jalen Milroe and Penn State's Drew Allar both stayed put at +2200.
