John Roberts on President Trump testing positive for coronavirus: He was ‘extremely cautious’

Fox News’ John Roberts reports from the White House with an update on President Trump and first lady Melania Trump testing positive for the coronavirus.

President Trump announced early Friday that he and first lady Melania Trump had tested positive for COVID-19 -- raising immediate questions about who else in the administration could be positive.

A spokesperson from Sen. Rick Scott's office clarified to Fox News that he misspoke while on air Saturday morning, he has in fact tested negative for the coronavirus.

Rose Garden event

Separately, a number of those who have been tested attended a Rose Garden event last week for President Trump’s announcement of Amy Coney Barrett as his pick to fill the Supreme Court vacancy.

It has raised concerns that the event, which was mostly outside but parts of which are reported to have been held indoors, could have been a “super spreader” event.
