From 2011-2022, Parker served as a special agent with the FBI in the Miami Field Office with a focus on human trafficking and violent crimes including active shooters, manhunts and school shootings. Notably, Parker was the only woman in the FBI’s highest-ranked Violent Crime and Fugitive Task Force and has received three "Law Enforcement Officer of the Year" awards from the U.S. Attorney’s office in the Southern District of Florida and the Medal of Excellence from the FBI Directory.
Parker was also the FBI special agent in charge of the investigation into the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School mass shooting in Parkland, Florida in 2018. In addition to her specialty in violent crimes and crime scene investigations, she is an expert in manhunts, autopsies, crimes on the high seas, and financial crimes.
Previously, she served as a manager of investor relations at Canyon Partners, a vice president at Bank of America and an Investment Associate at Merrill Lynch.
Parker received her bachelor's degree in health sciences from Brigham Young University. She is a native of Houston, Texas.
