Hollywood actress Charlize Theron blasted people disapproving of the drag queen community and their exposure to children during a pro-drag queen telethon Sunday. She told critics, "I will f--- anybody up who is, like, trying to f--- with anything with" drag queens.
During a portion of last Sunday’s "Drag Isn’t Dangerous" telethon, Theron was filmed alongside several of her friends telling critics of drag to back off.
The "Atomic Blonde" star comments alluded to conservative lawmakers trying to pass laws keeping sexual drag queen performances from being exposed to kids, claiming that there are plenty of other things that are more of a danger to children than drag queens, who she added bring more happiness and love to the world.

Theron’s video represented one of many celebrities’ appearances at the "Drag is Not Dangerous" fundraiser, a live telethon event over the weekend put on by Hollywood organization Producer Entertainment Group and major LGBTQ organizations.
The event was organized with the goal of raising money for these LGBTQ groups to combat bills being pushed in red states like Tennessee and Texas to regulate drag performances in public areas so that minors are not exposed to them."
In addition to Theron, actress Melissa McCarthy, actor Jesse Eisenberg, comedian Sarah Silverman and other Hollywood stars made appearances at the event, which also featured performances from famous drag queens.
In a self-recorded video that aired during the fundraiser, Theron mounted an aggressive defense of the drag queen community against these bills and the general stigma towards drag queens.
Surrounded by smiling friends, the actress spoke into the camera, saying, "We love you queens! We’re in your corner, and we’ve got you, and I will f--- anybody up who is, like, trying to f--- with anything with you guys."
After her blunt message, the actress insisted that drag queens are not what’s harming children in society at the moment. She declared, "In all seriousness, there are so many things that are hurting and really, killing our kids right, and we all know what I’m talking about right now."
She added that the danger to kids "ain’t no drag queen, because if you’ve ever seen a drag queen lip sync for her live, it only makes you happier, it only makes you love more. It makes you a better person."
She then joked about doing a flamboyant drag move on camera, saying, "F---, if I could do a death drop right now I would, but I would probably like, break my hip."

Theron urged the viewers, "Please support all the great organizations that are out there helping all of this nonsense going away like it should, all of these incredibly stupid policies. Bye!"
Just before signing off, she added, "No more room for hate, only love, and love equals drag queens!"
