Israeli Defense Forces captured Hamas' parliament building in Gaza on Tuesday amid heavy fighting in its campaign against the terrorist organization. So far, at least 47 IDF soldiers have been killed, not counting those taken hostage on Oct. 7. The U.S. and other Western nations continue to urge more humanitarian pauses in the conflict, but not a cease-fire.

Israel Defense Forces said medical supplies, including baby food and incubators, have arrived at al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza amid the targeted attack on Hamas terrorists inside the building.
"We can now confirm that incubators, baby food and medical supplies, provided by the IDF, have successfully reached the hospital," the IDF wrote on X.
The supplies arrived Wednesday morning after Israeli soldiers began a "precise and targeted operation" against Hamas, which operates out of the hospital. The operation remains active, according to the IDF.
Arabic-speaking soldiers and the IDF's medical team are reportedly at the hospital to ensure the supplies make it to those in need.
Israel Defense Forces said troops killed Hamas terrorists and encountered explosive devices and terror cells during its "precise and targeted operation" at the al-Shifa Hospital.
The area of the hospital where the operation is taking place was decided upon by intelligence indicating Hamas activity was coming from the area, the IDF said.
Before entering, troops discovered explosive devices and terrorist cells, which prompted an "engagement" that left Hamas terrorists dead, according to the IDF.
A Hamas training camp containing terror tunnel shafts, classrooms, intelligence material and dozens of weapons, including rockets and loaded RPGs, was located in the area on Tuesday by Israeli forces.
In addition, the IDF said it struck two terrorists with a UAV after it identified a terrorist cell exiting a building with an anti-tank missile launching post in the northern Gaza Strip. The terrorists were carrying suspected IEDs, which were planted in the area.

Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant said the Jewish state "will not stop its operations in Gaza" until Hamas is obliterated and hostages are back home with their families during a Wednesday meeting with U.S. Special Coordinator Brett McGurk.
The meeting between Gallant and McGurk, U.S. Special Coordinator for the Middle East, took place at the Ministry of Defense's headquarters in Tel Aviv. The two discussed operational developments in Israel's war against Hamas and the complexity of fighting the terrorist group given that it operates in civilian buildings.
Intelligence and additional details related to the hostages being held by Hamas and efforts to bring them home were also discussed.
The two leaders spoke on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and how to overcome the challenges in facilitating aid to the civilian population, as well as the international community's role in getting more urgent supplies delivered to the area.
Gallant also expressed his appreciation for America's ongoing support and deep partnership, and the two agreed to remain in close contact.

The Israeli military's ground operation in Gaza and its "precise and targeted operation" against Hamas terrorists operating inside the al-Shifa Hospital remain active, Israel Defense Forces spokesman Rear. Adm. Daniel Hagari said Wednesday morning.
"The IDF is conducting a ground operation in Gaza to defeat Hamas and rescue our hostages," Hagari said. "Israel is at war with Hamas, not with the civilians in Gaza."
Reiterating an IDF post on X earlier Wednesday, Hagari stated that medical teams and Arabic speakers trained to handle the "complex and sensitive environment" are at the hospital to assist those in need as the operation continues.
"The IDF has publicly warned time and again that Hamas' continued military use of the Shifa hospital jeopardizes its protected status under international law," Hagari said, adding that there has been "ample time to stop this unlawful abuse of the hospital.
"Wide-scale evacuations have been facilitated by Israeli forces and "regular dialogue with hospital authorities" has been maintained, Hagari said.

The Israel Defense Forces announced two more soldiers were killed on Tuesday as Israel's war against Hamas terrorists continues.
The fallen have been identified as Omri Yosef David, 27, and Yedidya Asher Lev, 26, and their families have been notified. Both David and Lev were captains, according to the IDF's memorial page.
As of Wednesday morning, there here have been 49 IDF soldiers killed since ground operations began in Gaza.

Rep. Mike McCaul, R-Texas, joined Sean Hannity Tuesday evening to discuss the Israel Defense Forces' targeted operation against Hamas terrorists operating out of the al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.
"It shows what cowards, really, Hamas are to use their own people and the hostages as human shields," McCaul said.
The Texas congressman shared that he just returned from a trip to Israel, where he met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and discussed the Jewish state's goals in its war against Hamas.
"The goal is to eradicate Hamas, not allow them to reconstitute in the Gaza. They don't want to occupy Gaza. Nobody wants Gaza to be honest with you. They want a governance that can take place without Israel and without Hamas, and that's simply all they want, McCaul said.

The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) released two videos of airstrikes conducted by U.S. forces on Iranian proxy fighters in Syria, which took place over the weekend.
On Sunday, a senior U.S. defense official said at least six Iranian proxy fighters were killed in the U.S.’s attacks on Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stations in the Middle East.
The IRGC stations are located in the Syrian cities of Abu Kamal and Maydin.

North Andover, Massachusetts, officials approved a permit Monday, allowing a Palestinian flag to be flown on the North Andover Town Common, according to reports.
Boston 25 News reported that the black, white, red and green flag was raised Tuesday morning and will remain in place until Dec. 7.
Residents attended a board meeting that had to be rescheduled because of reported "threats of litigation as well as public safety concerns," both in favor and opposition of the flag being put on display on town property.

Tens of thousands of protesters descended on Washington D.C. to peacefully stand in solidarity with Israel, call for Hamas to release the hostages and demand an end to rising antisemitism.
The Jewish Federations of North America, a non-profit organization and the organizer for the rally, said that this was the largest pro-Israel gathering in U.S. history.
The group said that they estimated that there were 290,000 people and that another 250,000 watched online.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called out Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Tuesday over his recent remarks about Israeli military actions in Gaza.
On Monday, Trudeau said that he spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron over the phone about the killings of Palestinians during the conflict.
"On the phone today, President @EmmanuelMacron and I shared our deep concerns over the dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the scale of suffering of Palestinian civilians, and the loss of civilian life," Trudeau's post on X, formerly known as Twitter, read. "We also called for the immediate release of those being held hostage by Hamas."
In his X post, Netanyahu argued that Hamas is intentionally endangering civilians.
"It is not Israel that is deliberately targeting civilians but Hamas that beheaded, burned and massacred civilians in the worst horrors perpetrated on Jews since the Holocaust," Netanyahu wrote. "While Israel is doing everything to keep civilians out of harm’s way, Hamas is doing everything to keep them in harm’s way."
"Israel provides civilians in Gaza humanitarian corridors and safe zones, Hamas prevents them from leaving at gunpoint," he added. "It is Hamas not Israel that should be held accountable for committing a double war crime - targeting civilians while hiding behind civilians. The forces of civilization must back Israel in defeating Hamas barbarism."

The White House confirmed Tuesday that Hamas terrorists are using Gaza's largest hospital, al-Shifa, and the tunnels beneath it as a base for military operations and to hold hostages.
National Security Council spokesman John Kirby made the confirmation during a press gaggle aboard Air Force One, backing up what the Israeli military had been saying for weeks as the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) continue their ground operation in the Gaza strip.
"I can confirm for you that we have information that Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad used some hospitals in the Gaza strip, including al-Shifa, and tunnels underneath them to conceal and support their military operations and to hold hostages," Kirby said.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) says that it is currently "carrying out a precise and targeted operation" in Gaza's al-Shifa Hospital on Wednesday morning, where Hamas terrorists have been operating.
"The IDF is conducting a ground operation in Gaza to defeat Hamas and rescue our hostages," the IDF's statement read. "Israel is at war with Hamas, not with the civilians in Gaza."
"Yesterday, the IDF conveyed to the relevant authorities in Gaza once again that all military activities within the hospital must cease within 12 hours," the IDF said. "Unfortunately, it did not."
The military also says that it has been communicating regularly with authorities in the hospital, and that they have "facilitated wide-scale evacuations of the hospital."
"We call upon all Hamas terrorists present in the hospital to surrender," the statement added.

The United States on Tuesday said it has imposed sanctions on a group of Hamas officials and members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) who work to transfer money from Iran to Gaza.
A Lebanese money exchange service that facilitates the transfers has also been sanctioned. The sanctions are being coordinated with the United Kingdom and are aimed at protecting the international financial system from abuse by Hamas militants and their enablers, the Treasury Department announced Tuesday.
The sanctions block the targeted entities from accessing U.S. property and bank accounts while also preventing them from doing business with Americans.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog addressed tens of thousands at the "March for Israel" protest at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday and called for the release of all hostages held by Hamas.
In an echo of Moses' words in the Bible to the hardhearted pharaoh who held ancient Israelis captive in Egypt, Herzog demanded Hamas "let our people go."
"Since Oct. 7, Israeli society and the Jewish people have truly come together in unison. We feel our hearts beat as one. We hear our brothers' and sisters' blood calling out to us from the ground," Herzog said in Jerusalem, broadcasting a video feed of his speech to the rally in the U.S. capital.

Tens of thousands of people gathered in the nation's capital on Tuesday to show support for Israel and condemn antisemitism.
Organizers of the "March for Israel" say as many as 100,000 people were anticipated to turn out for the event, which took place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
A coalition of Jewish organizations planned the march to show solidarity with the people of Israel in the wake of the Oct. 7 terror attacks in which Hamas terrorists infiltrated the Jewish state and massacred more than 1,200 Israelis, mostly civilians. Israel declared war on Hamas last month and has relentlessly bombed the Gaza Strip and sent ground forces into the Palestinian territory to eliminate the terrorist group and free the remaining 238 hostages taken in the initial attack.

The U.S. Department of Defense confirmed Tuesday that it has intelligence suggesting Hamas is using hospitals in Gaza to conceal and support military operations and hold hostages.
The confirmation comes a day after Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari shared a video showing a shaft leading into the ground with electrical wires that went down about 20 meters, and into a tunnel.
The tunnel Hagari shared footage of led from the house of a senior terrorist to a bulletproof and explosive-proof door, showing "clear evidence" that the tunnels were connected to the Rantisi hospital that Hamas used as a base.

House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., gave an ardent speech at the "March for Israel" on Tuesday, arguing that the U.S. must "decisively address the cancer of antisemitism with the fierce urgency of now."
The New York representative said that the "moral case for Israel is anchored in the painful history of the Jewish people," and went through the large number of countries that have expelled Jews in history.
"We are here more than 100,000 people strong to unequivocally declare never again, never again, never again," Jeffries said. "The state of Israel will always exist as a safe haven for the Jewish people."
"We stand together in the effort to crush anti-Jewish hate," he said. "We stand together in the effort to bring home the hostages."

"They captured video from Hamas, GoPros from Hamas, dashcams from Hamas cellphones," the congressman explained in a video on X. "The brutality that we saw this morning was the hardest thing that I've ever had to watch."
Pfluger, a decorated Air Force F-22 and F-15 pilot, added that the videos showed Hamas terrorists slaughtering civilians in a "gleeful manner."
"Israel not only has a right, but they have the responsibility to defend themselves," the Republican explained. "The United States of America also will help defend them. That terrorism, that evil that we witnessed that happened on October 7, can happen here. We have to be aware that they want it to happen."
"I stand with Israel," he added. "We pray for those families that are still missing, your loved ones that are still being held, some of which are American. We stand with Israel."

Turkey’s rhetoric and positions on the Israel-Hamas war have paved the way for closer ties with Iran, which both nations will explore as they seek to resolve long-standing issues.
"Compartmentalization has long been the name of the game for the Iran-Turkey relationship under the Islamic Republic and AKP, respectively," Behnam Ben Taleblu, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told Fox News Digital. Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan is the chairman of the AKP political party.
"While traditionally the two non-Arab Muslim Middle Eastern powers have competed as to who can champion the Palestinian street, the post-Arab Spring Middle Eastern order has led to more opportunities for a NATO member and the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism to channel their political ire and more at Israel," Taleblu said.

Dueling protests in support of the Palestinian and Israeli peoples at Concordia University in Montreal last week resulted in multiple injuries and an arrest after a student assaulted a security guard amid a violent clash.
Student group Jews on Campus told CBC that it tried to hold a peaceful demonstration in support of the hostages taken by Hamas, but then a crowd "chanting pro-Palestinian slogans" surrounded the demonstration. The "productive" effort "started to turn," according to one witness.
The pro-Palestinian crowd allegedly called the Jewish students "murderers" and a fight broke out, although it was not clear who threw the first punch. The witness described the situation as "very scary as a Jewish person on campus."

Senate Democrats blocked a stand-alone Israel aid package led by Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., Tuesday after a lengthy debate on the chamber floor.
Marshall sought unanimous consent for the House's version of the package, which passed the lower chamber with bipartisan support Nov. 2 and would earmark $14.3 billion reallocated from funds meant for the IRS in President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act. Senators Marshall, Ted Cruz, JD Vance and Mike Lee introduced the Senate version last month.
But Democrats shot down the effort because the package does not include aid to Ukraine. A handful of Republican senators argued the two emergency aid packages should be split up and voted on separately.

A columnist for New York Magazine blasted Democratic staffers on Capitol Hill for anonymously protesting their bosses' stances on the Israel-Hamas War.
Over 500 Democratic aides in Congress have "signed on to letters" requesting Congress support a cease-fire, according to a New York Times article Monday.
Jonathan Chait, a New York Magazine political columnist, criticized the staffers in a column Tuesday, calling out the paid employees who attended masked rallies with signs saying "Congress, your staff demands a cease-fire." Rather than resign, the unhappy staffers have remained in their roles, even expressing concern that if they came out publicly it could hurt their careers.

The Pentagon said Tuesday that there have been 56 attacks on U.S. troops in Iraq and Syria since Oct. 17, with 59 U.S. personnel getting injured with either traumatic brain injury (TBI) or non-serious injuries.
Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh provided the update to reporters, saying of the 55 attacks on U.S. forces, 27 took place in Iraq and 28 occurred in Syria.
She also said of the 59 U.S. personnel who were injured, 32 were listed with injuries in the non-serious category, while the other 27 individuals suffered from TBI.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, R-La., commended the bipartisan support that Israel receives in the United States during a speech at the March for Israel rally in Washington, D.C.
"There are few issues in Washington that could so easily bring together leaders of both parties in both chambers," Johnson said. "But the survival of the state of Israel and our people unites us together and unites all Americans."
"Let me be very clear: the United States stands unequivocally with our neighbor, our friend, our ally, Israel," he added.
The Republican official condemned the Hamas terrorists who slaughtered and kidnapped Israelis in October, and said that many politicians cried when they saw new footage of the October 7 attacks.
"This morning, we watched the horrific film that was produced by Hamas from their own cameras as they committed the assault. It's unspeakable," the Louisiana congressman explained. "The auditorium was full of Republicans and Democrats in the House and they wept as we watched the film together. Most couldn't sit through it."
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., delivered a passionate speech at the March for Israel rally in DC on Tuesday, where he spoke about his Jewish heritage.
"Like so many Jewish people, the horrors of October 7th reminded me of what happened to my ancestors in Western Ukraine when the Nazis invaded," Schumer explained. "So the minute I heard of what happened in January 7th [sic], I knew I had to go to Israel as the first ranking Jewish Senate majority leader, in fact, the highest ranking Jewish elected official in American history."
The New York senator explained that he felt a "special obligation" to go to Israel.
"I said to the Israeli people, 'Israel, we in America have your back. America feels your pain. We ache with you. We stand with you. And we will not rest until you get all the assistance you need,'" Schumer said.
"We will not allow history to slide back to the days of the Holocaust when Jews were targeted and murdered and butchered," he added. "Instead, the Jewish people will be resilient. And today all of you are here showing we will not hide in the face of adversity in America and in Israel."
Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst joined "America Reports" from Southern Israel on Tuesday to report the latest developments in the Israel-Hamas war.
Yingst told host Sandra Smith that Hamas continues to fire rockets towards civilian areas in Israel.
"39 days into this conflict between Israel and Hamas, Hamas has maintained their abilities to fire rockets toward major population centers in southern and central Israel," he explained. "Earlier this evening, sirens were sounding in Israel's second largest city of Tel Aviv, sending hundreds of thousands of people to bomb shelters inside the Gaza Strip."
The reporter also said that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) took "operational control" of a Hamas stronghold in northern Gaza.
"The Israelis say they are now in operational control of the Al-shati camp in the northern part of Gaza," Yingst said. "This was largely considered to be a Hamas headquarters and a stronghold for the organization inside the [Gaza] Strip. Much of that fighting continues to take place inside Gaza."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered a dire warning to America that it may be "next" if the IDF doesn't destroy Hamas during an interview with FOX News' Sean Hannity.
"We have to win not only for our sake, but for the sake of the Middle East, for the sake of our Arab neighbors. You know what, for the sake of Gazans who've been held by this dark tyranny that has brutalized and brought them nothing but bloodshed and poverty and misery," Netanyahu said Monday. "We have to win to protect Israel. We have to win to safeguard the Middle East. We have to win for the sake of the civilized world. That's the battle we're fighting, and it's being waged right now. There is no substitute for that victory."
"If we don't win now, then Europe is next and you're next. And we have to win," he later added.

State Department official grilled on Biden admin's release of billions in funding to Iran
State Department spokesman Matthew Miller faced a grilling during Tuesday's press briefing regarding the Biden administration's decision to unfreeze billions of dollars worth of Iranian assets.
President Biden's administration insists the funds are held in restricted accounts and that Iran will only be able to use them for humanitarian purposes. Reporters pressed Miller for several minutes on how that could, be however, given that the funds could allow Iran to use its existing funds to support terrorism in the Middle East.
"The Iranians are going to spend the same amount on their people as they were before, but now they've got another $10 billion or so to [spend on terrorism]" a reporter stated.
"I don't accept that argument," Miller responded.
"So you know what the Iranians are doing?" the reporter asked.
"No, what we believe is that the Iranian regime is gonna spend the same amount of money on destabilizing activities because it always has, and we will take actions to hold them accountable for those destabilizing activities," Miller said. "What we have seen is that when these waivers have been issued, that money has been used for the benefit of the Iranian people."
"Yeah, and then the money that they had inside of Iran that would have been spent on this is then freed up for destabilizing activities," the reporter pressed again.
100 Harvard faculty object to university's 'Combating Antisemitism' initiative
Over 100 Harvard University faculty members have signed an open letter responding to the school's new "Combating Antisemitism" initiative.
The November 13 letter was addressed to Harvard University President Claudine Gray and questioned the school's commitment to free speech and expression.
The faculty said they were "astonished" by pressure from donors, alumni and members of the campus community to "silence" faculty, students and staff critical of actions undertaken by Israel against Hamas.
"It is important to acknowledge the patronizing tone and format of much of the criticism you have received as well as the outright racism contained in some of it," the letter stated. "We were nevertheless profoundly dismayed by your November 9 message entitled 'Combating Antisemitism.'"
The faculty also suggested that the university's commitment to open dialogue has been replaced by a "model of education" where the meaning of terms and phrases, once eligible for interpretation, have now been deemed unacceptable by a new committee.

Multi-rocket attack hits US base in Syria for 5th time since US strike against Iran-backed militants
A multi-rocket attack struck a U.S. Mission Support Site Euphrates in Syria on Tuesday, the 5th attack on U.S. forces since Sunday's air strike killing Iranian-backed militants, two Defense officials told Fox News.
No injuries or damage to the base have been reported, the officials said. This was the 53rd attack since October 17th. Each of the five since Sunday have been in Syria.
The attacks come as President Biden's administration seeks to prevent Israel's war against Hamas from sparking into a wider conflict in the Middle East. Iran and its terrorist proxies have carried out attacks on both the U.S. and Israel, but have yet to join the conflict in earnest.

Senators Lindsey Graham, R-SC., and Richard Blumenthal, D-CT, introduced a Senate resolution aiming to deter Iran from joining Israel's war against Hamas on Tuesday.
The two bipartisan senators stated that it is imperatve that no other regional powers seek to expand the war. The U.S. has already deployed two aircraft carrier groups to the eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East in an effort to deter both Iran and its proxies from attacking Israel.
Iran's terrorist proxy groups have already attacked both Israel and U.S. bases in Iraq and Syria. Hezbollah ahs launched dozens of anti-tank missiles and mortars into Northern Israel, as well as the Houthi rebels in Yemen, another Iran-backed organization.
During his "My Take," Tuesday, "Varney & Co." host Stuart Varney discussed the pressure Biden is under from congressional staffers to change his Israel-Hamas policy, arguing that if the president capitulates, America will have let down Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East.

You’re refusing to answer either of them. That is very telling. And you wonder why people believe you had a problem with Jewish people."

Biden shares message with US hostages held by Hamas: 'We're coming'
President Biden shared a brief message intended for the American and other hostages currently held by Hamas in Gaza on Tuesday.
Biden made the comment at the end of an address focused on combating climate change, telling the hostages: "Hang in there, we're coming." The U.S. has not announced any plans to deploy troops to Israel, however.
There are up to 10 American hostages in Hamas custody, including nine U.S. citizens and one legal permanent resident, or greencard holder.
Israel says there are up to 228 other hostages, though Biden's administration has admitted there is no way to know how many of the hostages are still alive.
One hostage, a female Israeli solider, was confirmed to have been killed on Tuesday.
IDF offers incubators to stricken Gaza hospital alleged to be Hamas headquarters
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Tuesday that it has launched a "humanitarian effort" to facilitate the transfer of incubators from a hospital in Israel to Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip, where the IDF alleges Hamas has placed its headquarters underneath.
The move comes as the IDF says it "remains committed to upholding its moral and professional responsibilities to distinguish between civilians and Hamas terrorists."
"The IDF is willing to work with any reliable mediating party to ensure the transfer of the incubators," it said in a statement.
Israel said Tuesday that its main target in northern Gaza remains the Hamas headquarters it says is located beneath Al-Shifa Hospital -- a claim the terrorist group denies. The IDF has surrounded the facility, which The Associated Press says is filled with hundreds of patients, medical staff and displaced people grappling with dwindling supplies and without electricity to run incubators and other equipment.
The IDF on Tuesday released audio of a phone call it says was between a senior officer from the Gaza Coordination and Liaison Administration – an agency that oversees activity at Israel-Gaza border crossing – and the hospital’s director.

Fox News camera crews captured an Israeli airstrike during a live broadcast near the Gaza border on Tuesday.
Fox News foreign correspondent Trey Yingst was speaking with Fox hosts during the broadcasts when an explosion occurred in the distance behind him. Cameras focused on a plume of black smoke as seconds later the noise of the blast reached the team.
Yingst says the airstrike hit somewhere along the northern part of the Gaza Strip, where Israel has focused its war against Hamas.
Retired Navy SEAL Mike Sarraille reacted to the U.S. launching airstrikes on Iranian-backed forces in Syria in his appearance on Fox News on Tuesday.
Sarraille stated that President Biden's top focus should be ensuring that Iran does not escalate Israel's ongoing war against Hamas. Iran and its proxy terrorist groups have attacked both Israel and the U.S. in the Middle East, but they have yet to fully mobilize.
The U.S. has deployed two air craft carrier groups to the Medditerranean and the Middle East in an effort to deter regional powers from entering the war.
Guterres 'does not deserve' to lead United Nations, Israeli foreign minister says
United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres is unfit to serve in his role, Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said Tuesday.
Cohen made the comments during a press conference at a U.N. convention in Geneva. Israel's ambassador to the U.N. has repeatedly called on Guterres to resign over his response to Israel's ongoing war against Hamas.
"Guterres does not deserve to be the head of the United Nations. Guterres did not promote any peace process in the region... Guterres, like all the free nations, should say clearly and loudly: 'Free Gaza from Hamas'," Cohen said Tuesday.
GOP senator urges Dems to pass bipartisan House Israel aid bill again: 'Time is of the essence'
A Republican senator is calling on the Senate Democrats to pass the bipartisan Israel aid bill that the House of Representatives passed earlier this month.
Senator Roger Marshall, R-Ks., will urge his Democratic colleagues in the upper chamber to pass the aid bill for Israel in a speech Tuesday, a draft of which was first obtained by Fox News Digital.
"Since we were last here, Hamas’ leadership has declared its desire for a permanent state of war with Israel on all the borders," the senator plans to say on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
"Time is of the essence," the remarks read. "Right now, there are still hundreds of innocent people being held captive by Hamas terrorists, including approximately 10 Americans."
Marshall plans to appeal to the Senate Democrats to pass the Israel aid bill and will call on them to "do the right thing and pass this aid for Israel in their time of need."

The Israeli military announced a temporary pause in fighting on Tuesday to allow further evacuations out of Gaza.
The pause impacts throughout Gaza City, which has been the center of Israel's war against Hamas for more than a week. Israeli Defense Forces are currently surrounding the city's Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest medical facility in Gaza. Israel says Hamas has placed its headquarters in tunnels beneath the complex.
Israel has conducted numerous humanitarian pauses in recent days to allow evacuations out of Gaza and for aid convoys to flow in.
Biden officials rebel against president on Israel-Hamas war, sign dissent letter
Four hundred government officials from 40 departments and agencies within President Biden's administration signed a letter opposing the president's handling of the Israel-Hamas war and demanding a cease-fire.
The Tuesday letter, first reported by the New York Times, includes officials from the State Department, White House, National Security Council, and the Justice Department.
"We call on President Biden to urgently demand a cease-fire; and to call for de-escalation of the current conflict by securing the immediate release of the Israeli hostages and arbitrarily detained Palestinians; the restoration of water, fuel, electricity and other basic services; and the passage of adequate humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip," the letter reads, in part.
Biden and other Western leaders have pushed back on calls for a cease-fire in Gaza, arguing it would only serve to benefit Hamas terrorists. Biden's administration has instead pushed for humanitarian pauses in the fighting, which Israel has agreed to.

Israeli university president tours US campuses to urge action on growing antisemitism
College campuses across the country have seen a spike in antisemitism and university leaders are fielding requests from donors, the Biden administration, as well as top Israeli officials, to address the rhetoric directed toward the Jewish community.
Ron Robin, president of Israel's University of Haifa visited Harvard, Stanford, The City University of New York (CUNY), New York University (NYU), the University of California (UC) Berkeley and UC San Diego last week to meet with university presidents, administrators, faculty and student groups to discuss anti-Israel and antisemitic sentiments that have been seen on college campuses since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war. Robin spoke with Fox News Digital about the cross-section between freedom of speech and how he believes it has been used to legitimize hate speech and justify violence.
"You cannot say everything on a campus," he said. "You cannot make derogatory statements about ethnic minorities that fall into the rubric of hate speech. There is a very clear difference between expressing opinions, freedom of expression and hate speech. I can't understand, and I think this is erroneous to allow full freedom of expression. Educational institutions, we're there to provide our students with tools and knowledge to live a better life and to be better citizens."
The university of Haifa is Israel’s most diverse campus with Arab students making up 40% of the student body. Robin is also a graduate of UC Berkeley and spent 12 years at NYU serving as Senior Vice Provost, which he said has afforded him a unique perspective with both the U.S. and Israeli higher education systems.

Israeli military reveals footage of infantry, tank operations inside Gaza
The Israeli Defense Forces released footage of soldiers, tanks and other armored vehicles operating in Gaza against Hamas on Tuesday.
IDF Spokesman Daniel Hagari stated that multiple brigades of Israeli troops had raided key Hamas government buildings throughout the weekend.
"In the last few days, the fighters of the brigade combat teams of the 7th Brigade and the Golani Brigade operated in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Ejalin, Rimal, and raided governing institutions of the terrorist organization Hamas that are used for military purposes," he wrote.

IDF tank, fighter jets engage Hezbollah targets in Lebanon after anti-tank missile launch
Israeli Defense Force aircraft conducted a series of airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon on Tuesday, and an Israeli tank also fired on a group of terrorists attempting to launch an anti-tank missile.
IDF Spokesman Daniel Hagari announced the incidents Tuesday morning. Israel's conflict with Hezbollah continues to simmer, but has yet to erupt into fullscale war like that against Hamas. Hagari added that the airstrikes came in retalliation to a series of launches against IDF positions.
"During the day, terrorists launched anti-tank missiles and mortar bombs at IDF positions in the Margaliot area, Arab Al Aramsha and Petah, and beyond the Shomara and Matat areas. The IDF attacks the sources of the shooting in Lebanese territory," Hagari wrote on social media, according to a translation of his post.
Fringe Jewish group in California holds protest calling for cease-fire in Israel-Hamas war
Demonstrators led by the group Jewish Voice for Peace gathered at the rotunda inside the Oakland Federal Building in California on Monday to protest the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas terrorists.
Jewish Voice for Peace, which describes itself as the "largest progressive Jewish anti-Zionist organization in the world," posted on X Monday evening that "more than 700 Bay Area Jews and allies" were participating in the protest, which was part of a national week of Jewish-led protests calling for a cease-fire.
"We are not leaving, we demand an end to this bloodshed, we will not see Jewish grief used to perpetuate genocide," the post read.
Law enforcement began making arrests at around 8 p.m. local time after demonstrators refused orders to vacate the area, according to KTVU.
President Biden, whose administration has pushed back on calls for a cease-fire, is expected to arrive in the Bay Area on Tuesday for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit. Jewish Voice for Peace said it is calling on Biden and Vice President Harris to join Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., in calling for an immediate cease-fire.
"We demand an immediate ceasefire(sic) to protect innocent lives, deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians, ensure hostage's(sic) safe return and stop the violence," Lee said in a statement.
More than 11,000 people have been killed in Gaza and Israel since Hamas launched its largest attack against Israel in decades on Oct. 7, prompting a military response from Israeli forces. Thousands more have been wounded, and many others have been taken hostage by Hamas and raped, tortured and murdered.

US Universities biggest donors are Arab countries, report finds: 'Comes with strings attached'
A 2023 report from the American Israeli Cooperative Enterprise (AICE) is shining a light on foreign donations to American universities and the role they could be playing in influencing college campuses and responses to geopolitical events.
The May report, conducted by Mitchell Bard, a foreign policy expert and the executive director of the AICE, found that American universities' top donors are Arab countries like Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Egypt.
Qatar was the largest source of funding, donating roughly $5 billion and was followed by Saudi Arabia donating roughly $3 billion.
"Foreign government contributions to universities almost always come with strings attached or, at the very least, ulterior motives," said Ben Freeman, the director of the Democratizing Foreign Policy program at the Quincy Institute.

Tens of thousands of pro-Israel demonstrators are expected to attend a march in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday to show solidarity with the country amid its war against Hamas.
Tuesday's "March for Israe" comes roughly a week after tens of thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters descended on the city demanding an end to Israel's military campaign. Tuesday's demonstration will also highlight the spike in antisemitism that has taken place across the U.S., particularly at universities.
Northwestern U. president calls on students to condemn antisemitic phrases; school group claps back
Michael Schill, president of Northwestern University, called on students to reject statements or banners that can be interpreted as promoting murder or genocide in a statement on Monday. In response, the school’s pro-Palestinian group rushed to post a picture that read, "From the River to the Sea."
Schill announced a new committee focused on preventing antisemitism and hate in a letter addressed to members of the university’s community, as well as what led to the committee's establishment.
"In the weeks since the brutal terrorist attack on Israel by Hamas and the ensuing military action in Gaza, I have had the opportunity to meet with students, faculty, parents, alumni and staff across our campuses, many of whom have shared very personal stories of pain, anger, fear or disillusionment as we…face the uncertainties and horrors of the terror attacks and war in the Middle East," he wrote. "This conflict has created division and mistrust on our campuses, further stoked by events that have taken place at other universities and by the rhetoric of individuals both inside and outside our community."
Schill also said the school will not allow antisemitism or any acts against people based on their race, religion, national origin or any other protected categories, as it is against university policy, and most times, against the law.
The school will also investigate any allegations of such behavior and implement disciplinary proceedings against anyone who commits such acts, he said.
Northwestern University’s Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) quickly turned to social media in response to Schill’s statement, posting a picture of an archway at Northwestern University with a Palestinian flag and big red letters that read, "From the River to the Sea."
A group of anti-Israel individuals also allegedly posted a drawing of Schill with devil horns added to his head.

One of the Americans held hostage by radical Iranian militants during the 1979 crisis spoke out to FOX News about the parallels with the Americans currently being held by Hamas terrorists following the invasion of Israel.
Retired Marine Sgt. Kevin Hermening said the current crisis shows Iran and its proxies have successfully "exported their brand of Islamic international terrorism" over 40-plus years.
He pointed to Hamas, the Yemeni Houthis, Hezbollah and other Islamic Jihad groups that have terrorized the Mideast and the West ever since.
"This is all about how they can bargain for even more capital, more money, more barrels of cash on the top of a pallet being sent in the middle of the night, halfway around the globe," he said.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers were photographed inside the Hamas parliament building in Gaza on Monday.
The soldiers are part of the Golani Brigade, according to the Jerusalem Post. A picture that circulated on social media showing the soldiers posed together proudly holding up Israeli flags.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant previously said on Monday that Hamas had "lost control" of Gaza.
“Hamas has lost control of Gaza. Terrorists are fleeing southward. Civilians are looting Hamas bases,” Gallant explained. “They don’t have faith in the government anymore."
"There is no power that Hamas has capable of stopping the IDF. The IDF is advancing to every point," he added.
