Scottie Scheffler not only picked up his first Masters victory and the green jacket on Sunday, but he was going home with a big check as well.
The 25-year-old took home about $2.7 million as the winner.
Hideki Matsuyama, who won the tournament last year, took home $2.07 million for his win. In 2020, Dustin Johnson won $2.07 million as well.

"Well I was hitting too many putts," Woods said after his round. "It was like putting practice, I hit a thousands putts out there today."
"Honestly I didn't really feel like I hit it all that bad, I just had absolutely zero feel for the greens, and it showed," he added.

"Not being at the course and feeling like you’re there is super important here – for a couple of reasons. One is they limit the number of people who can come so most of the people who want to be here can’t be here and two, the folks who are here can’t have their phones," Miller explained. "There’s no digital experience on the course so this is really all about how can we take what’s really happening in Augusta and share it with the rest of the world."

Phil Mickelson will not be competing in the 2022 Masters at Augusta National Golf Club, part of an extended leave following controversial comments he made in recent months.
But the three-time Masters champion is not skipping the tournament this week because he was told to stay away, Augusta National Golf Club chairman Fred Ridley revealed Wednesday.
"We did not disinvite Phil,’’ Ridley said at a news conference. "Phil is a three-time Masters champion and is invited in that category and many other categories. He’s the defending PGA champion."

The 46-year-old is +4500 to win the tournament, according to the latest odds from FOX Bet. He’s +900 to finish in the top 5, +400 to finish in the top 10 and +175 to finish in the top 20.

Tiger Woods hedged a bit when asked whether he planned on playing the Masters this week but appeared to be hopeful.
"As of right now, I feel like I am going to play," he told reporters Tuesday.
Woods played nine holes on Wednesday and appeared to be ready to play in Thursday's first round. As of right now, he's set to be in Group 14 with Louis Oosthuizen and Joaquin Niemann.
That group is set to tee off at around 10:34 a.m. ET.
