The Spice Girls In 1994 the British pop group was formed, starring (from left to right) Victoria Adams, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Chisolm. Two years later, each of the girls were given the stage names: Posh Spice, Baby Spice, Scary Spice, Ginger Spice and Sporty Spice respectively. Smart. Their debut album ,"Spice," sold 23 million records, and they went on to sell over 75 million records worldwide, making them the best-selling girl group of all time. The Spice Girls Now In 2007 The Spice Girls reunited to release their Greatest Hits album and followed it up with a tour in 2008. It was released in a jillion formats in a raft of nontraditional outlets, so figuring out how it did was tough. This is what we do know: It sold 600,000 copies in Victoria's Secret stores alone. Scary Spice Then Her crazy hair made Scary Spice the standout of the group. But it was her voice that got Missy Elliott's attention in 1998. The hip-hop artist asked Mel to sing "I Want You Back" for the movie "Why Do Fools Fall in Love." It was the first solo track from a Spice Girl to go No. 1 on the singles charts. (AP)

Mel B. Now In 2004 Mel B. starred in "Rent" as Mimi Marquez. In 2006, she made headlines for her relationship with comedy legend Eddie Murphy. She became pregnant but the couple broke up before the baby was born. Eddie contested that it wasn't his child anyway, but a paternity test proved otherwise. Not very nice, Eddie. Shortly after that, she began dating Stephen Belafonte, and the couple wed in June 2007. That same year she competed on "Dancing with the Stars." In 2010 she was a celebrity mentor on the Australian version of "The X Factor." On Sept. 1, 2011 Mel gave birth to her third child, Madison.

Posh Spice Then Victoria Adams met soccer star David Beckham in 1997 at a charity soccer match. But she claims she didn't really know who he was since she wasn't "into football." (AP)

Victoria Beckham Now Once the group split up, Posh went on to have a very successful solo career in the U.K. She later set her sights on fashion, designing a line of Rock & Republic Jeans before launching her own fashion label, dvb. In 1999 she married David Beckham and the two became like royalty in Britain. They currently live in California with their four kids, sons, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and their latest addition, daughter Harper. (AP)

Ginger Spice Then Geri Halliwell fit well as "Ginger" with her bright red locks. She was the first to leave the group, and although they went on without her, it was never quite the same. Geri put out three solo albums and sold 12 million records worldwide. Not too shabby! (AP)

Geri Halliwell Now The former redhead went from writing songs ... to writing books. She began writing children's books in 2004 and released her first effort, "Ugenia Lavendar," in 2008. She has since followed it up with five more books about the same character. Nice second act, Geri! In 2011, she followed in Posh's footsteps and launched her own line of bikinis. (AP)

Sporty Spice Then She always looked like she was the most comfortable one in the group as Sporty Spice. But she didn't even make the Spice Girls cut the first time around. Melanie Chisholm was only added to the group after Lianne Morgan - one of the original members - walked away. Bad move, Lianne. (AP)

Mel C. Now Mel C. holds the record for being the only female artist to hold the No.1 spot on the U.K. Official Singles chart as part of a quartet, quintet, duo and solo act. Her latest studio album, Stages, was released in 2012. The singer has been linked to developer Thomas Starr since 2002 and in 2009 she became the last Spice Girl to become a mother when she gave birth to daughter Scarlet. (AP) (X17online.com)

Emma Bunton Now The blonde cutie went on to have a successful solo career. In 2009 she moved over to radio when she became a guest presenter on the British program "Heart Breakfast." She moved to TV a year later as a judge on "Dancing on Ice." Baby Spice has been with longtime partner Jade Jones since 1997 and the couple has two sons. Yes, she's a baby having babies. (AP) (AP2007)
