Rob Reiner says ‘mentally unstable’ President Trump is ‘aiding and abetting the enemy’
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Liberal filmmaker Rob Reiner called President Trump a “childish moronic mentally unstable malignant narcissist” who is “committing Treason” against the United States during a Twitter tirade on Thursday.
“Donald Trump is committing Treason against The United States of America. He is aiding and abetting the enemy in The War against Isis and The Cyberwar against Russia,” Reiner wrote. “He has turned the world’s oldest Democracy into a wholly owned subsidiary of Vladimir Putin. GOP, WAKE UP!”
The “When Harry Met Sally” producer – who is an outspoken critic of the president and often uses colorful language when doing so-- sent a follow-up tweet moments later.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}“All the adult rats are leaving the infantile sinking ship,” Reiner wrote. “We have been invaded by and are being occupied by a hostile enemy. We have a childish moronic mentally unstable malignant narcissist POTUS who is committing Treason in front of our eyes. GOP, STEP THE F--K UP!”
Reiner wrote earlier in the week, “It’s clear. The President is a criminal. He has committed felonies. In the United States of America no one is above the law. There is nothing in the Constitution that says a President can’t be indicted. Donald Trump must be indicted.”
The actor and producer has half-a-million Twitter followers and isn’t shy when it comes to using the social media platform to condemn the Trump. Last April, he pleaded with members of the GOP to speak up against the president.

The anti-Trump filmmaker is known for classics such as “Spinal Tap,” “The Princess Bride,” “The American President” and “The Bucket List,” but things haven’t been as positive lately.
Last summer, Reiner’s Bush administration-bashing “Shock and Awe” was a disappointment during its debut weekend with an embarrassing box office intake. “Shock and Awe” grossed only $41,000 on its opening weekend after being shown in only 100 theaters, according to Box Office Mojo.
