Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon and Emmy-winner Jennifer Aniston have both signed on to a new HBO project that will focus on television morning shows.

Witherspoon, a longtime friend of Aniston, was featured in two “Friends” episodes as Rachel Green’s (Aniston) sister, Jill Green.
The new HBO project, which is currently untitled, is rumored to be about the two women researching television morning shows and New York City’s media scene, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The show will also explore what occurs behind the scenes in television studios.
“House of Cards” producer Jay Carson has been assigned to write the script and screenwriter Steve Kloves of “Harry Potter” was named as the show’s executive producer.
