"Property Brothers" star Jonathan Scott is very close with his twin and co-star, Drew Scott — but he insists that doesn't mean he wants to live too close to him.
The contractor and HGTV star denied recent rumors that he purchased a home next door to Drew and wife Linda Phan.
“There apparently are lots of cyber creepers that follow the real estate transactions that happen,” Jonathan told People. “The house is not for me.”

Still, the 41-year-old plaid enthusiast added, “We may have a project coming up. You’ll have to stay tuned for that.”
One project the brothers have on the immediate horizon is their new series "Property Brothers: Forever Home," in which they help families make over homes they already live in.

Jonathan said of the new show — their sixth on HGTV, “There’s more heart in the stories. You get very, very close with these families, when you’re working side by side with them for so long,” he added. “That’s why it’s special.”
Maybe the property next door to Drew and Phan's home is for their future nannies: The real estate agent recently revealed he's looking forward to having possibly "three or four" kids with his new bride.

It may also serve well as their own private bank vault, as Drew and Jonathan Scott raked in $500 million in 2018 alone.
