Miley Cyrus goes undercover as a man for 'RuPaul's Drag Race'

It's Miley Cyrus as you've never seen her before.

The former "Hannah Montana" star went undercover again — this time not as a pop star, but as a heterosexual male.

In a preview for "RuPaul's Drag Race" posted to her Instagram account, Cyrus, 26, rocks a faux beard, short hair and a black baseball cap as she interacts with the contestants from the hit competition series.

“I’m going to go and meet the queens for the first time, but they don’t know they’re meeting me,” Cyrus said in the clip. “I wanted to go undercover with the ladies. So I’m going in as a crew member. They’re never going to know what hit ’em.”

She also posted a series of photos from behind the scenes of the VH1 hit, including a sped-up video pretending to shave her costume facial hair.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer announced on Feb. 12 that she would appear on "Drag Race."

The episode is set to air Thursday.

Last week, Cyrus reaffirmed that that she's gender fluid and identifies as queer.

“A big part of my pride and my identity is being a queer person,” she said. “What I preach is: People fall in love with people, not gender, not looks, not whatever. What I’m in love with exists on almost a spiritual level. It has nothing to do with sexuality. Relationships and partnerships in a new generation — I don’t think they have so much to do with sexuality or gender. Sex is actually a small part, and gender is a very small, almost irrelevant part of relationships.”
