Megyn Kelly, Samantha Bee had jury duty on the same day

David Schwimmer and Samantha Bee were also summoned to 60 Centre St., we hear.
A spy told “Page Six TV” of the scene: “It was more like a casting call than jury duty.”

We’re told Kelly appeared to be a big fan of Bee’s.
“She talked Samantha’s ear off. She looked trapped,” the source said.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}But another insider told us that any admiration was mutual.
“They both got on with each other. They hit it off and even exchanged emails, but there wasn’t much time to talk there.”
Kelly last year publicly slammed Bee after the comic called Ivanka Trump a “feckless c - - t” on her topical TBS show, “Full Frontal.”

Kelly, who was still on “Today” at the time, said of Bee: “Being a comedian doesn’t excuse everyone’s comments. I don’t find ‘I’m a comedian’ an adequate excuse.”
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}These days, Kelly — who exited NBC with about $30 million after her ill-fated run — tweeted of being on jury duty: “Slightly concerned about the effectiveness of the ‘I’m far too busy’ excuse this time.”
A different source on the scene told us: “They called out her name, and she responded like everyone. I guess she couldn’t postpone anymore.”
