After Meghan Markle’s high-profile wedding to Prince Harry in May, Viacom’s MTV International has ordered a new reality TV series titled “The Royal World,” Fox News learned Tuesday.
The six-episode, hour-long series will reportedly invite viewers inside the exclusive lives of young royals and aristocrats from around the globe, as well as provide access to the cast’s lavish family homes and elite circles. The show is slated to premiere later this year in nearly 180 countries.
While the cast hasn’t been officially announced, the network insisted it will include aristocrats form the United Kingdom, Russia, Austria, Nigeria and Ireland, among others. It also boasts a “royally connected American.” The show is expected to be filmed inside a British countryside mansion.

“Meghan falling for Prince Harry, marrying into the royal family and her blossoming friendship with the Queen has captivated the nation,” wrote Craig Orr, VP Commissioning and Development for MTV International. “Our intrigue and obsession with all things regal has well and truly been reignited. ‘The Royal World’s’ veritable melting pot of global aristocrats will show what it really means to be young and royal.”
“’The Royal World' is a brilliantly entertaining show that invites you into a world which is utterly closed to most of us – the world of young, titled royals and aristocrats,” added creative director Katy Manley. “Expect headline-grabbing gossip that’ll leave palaces squirming as we get to know the real people behind the titles.”
“The Royal World” is noted as the fifth MTV International original commission coming out of the UK this year.

Since the former “Suits” star, 36, and the royal, 33, tied the knot earlier this year, there has been growing interest surrounding the lives of young British aristocrats.
Lady Amelia Windsor, who is 37th in line to the British throne and dubbed “the world’s hottest royal,” stirred headlines after she was allegedly not invited to the wedding of the year.
The 22-year-old is Harry’s third cousin and granddaughter of the Duke of Kent who is Queen Elizabeth’s cousin. She is currently signed to Storm, a modelling agency that discovered Kate Moss. She has since walked the runway for Dolce & Gabbana.

Lady Kitty Spencer, the niece of Harry’s late mother Princess Diana, did secure an invitation to the royal event of the year.
Like Windsor, Spencer has stirred headlines for her head-turning looks. The model, also signed with Storm, walked the runway for Dolce & Gabbana’s “Secret & Diamonds” show, along with other royals, wearing a tiara.
The 27-year-old, who is a member of British aristocracy, is not in line to the throne.

Vanity Fair previously reported Spencer has a special bond with Harry. The top model, who lives in London, often parties with Harry in his 20s and is also friends with his ex-girlfriend, Chelsy Davy.
Her younger brother, Louis Spencer, Viscount Althrop, captivated photographers on Markle’s wedding day for his runway-ready features.
The 24-year-old, who is the son of Earl Spencer, Princess Diana’s younger brother, is next in line to earldom and would inherit his father’s title.

Back in 2015, Spencer was photographed hanging out with rap diva Nicki Minaj. At the time, the 35-year-old shared a photo of the two on her Instagram page with the caption, “Check out our wedding photo. No honestly it was such an honor to have you guys.”
