Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have received hundreds of gifts for their soon-to-be-born baby, report says

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex won’t be lacking in plush toys, blankets, booties and more for their soon-to-be-born child, who is due this spring.

Buckingham Palace on Friday released its annual reports, which, according to Town and Country, details how many gifts every member of Britain's royal family receives.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, specifically, received an especially large amount of gifts on their tour of Australia, Fiji, New Zealand and Tonga in September 2018.

Overall, they received more than 70 plush toys, 13 pairs of booties, multiple blankets, bibs, shawls, more than 100 children’s books and more, according to the publication.

What will they do will all of the gifts? Some may be used in the baby’s nursery in the couple’s Windsor cottage, reports Yahoo, while others will most likely be donated to charity.

In fact, Markle and Prince Harry “have long planned to encourage members of the public to make donations to select charities for children and parents in need,” reads a recent post on their newly-created Instagram account.

“The Duke and Duchess remain appreciative for your warm wishes and kindness during this especially happy time in their lives! Thank you for sharing the love,” the post continued.

The palace hasn't released any official details about Markle's delivery plans yet, but it's likely she'll give birth at St. Mary’s Hospital in London, England — following in the royal family's footsteps.

Prince Harry, his older brother, Prince William, and William’s children with wife Kate Middleton (Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis) were all born in the hospital's private Lindo Wing.

Typically, the hospital starts putting up no-parking signs outside of the hospital weeks before the expected due date.
