The Kardashians vs. Blac Chyna defamation case stemming from her $100M lawsuit continued on Tuesday as things in court took a quick turn once the jury selection process for the trial was finalized.
In court on Tuesday, the Kardashians' attorney, Michael Rhodes, accused Blac Chyna of wanting "to be one of them."
"She wanted that name," Rhodes alleged during his opening statement. "Ms. White wanted to be a part of this family," he said.

Earlier in court, the judge ruled that Blac Chyna's mom Tokyo Toni was not allowed in the courtroom after she took to Instagram Live the night before ranting against the Kardashians.
"Ms. Jenner was worried about her safety," Rhodes said in court. It's unclear which Jenner — Kris or Kylie, who were both in court — he was referring to.
Chyna, whose legal name is Angela White, claims the Kardashian-Jenner family made false statements about her, causing her to lose a significant amount of money and, ultimately, causing the cancellation of the "Rob & Chyna" reality TV show.

Chyna and Rob Kardashian began dating in 2016, and split in the summer of 2017.
They share a daughter, Dream, who is now 5.
Chyna’s lawsuit, initially filed in 2017, claimed that E! wouldn’t have canceled the series if the Kardashian-Jenner family’s allegations didn’t make their way to network representatives in late 2016 and early 2017.

During his opening statement, Rhodes said that E! execs will show why the network canceled "Rob & Chyna," and emphasized that Chyna is not suing E!, but instead, blaming the Kardashians.
Chyna began part of her testimony on Tuesday as well. Right before she began, Kylie Jenner whispered into Kim's ear, and then Chyna took to the stand.
During her testimony, Chyna detailed growing up and working to make money, explaining that no one helped her. She shared that being a stripper wasn't a first choice for herself.

She started dancing at 18 to support herself and her grandmother. Chyna's testimony is expected to continue on Wednesday.

Last week, Chyna's attorney, Lynne Ciani, released a statement, saying, "Although Kris Jenner was the ringleader, her three daughters all played a role in getting Chyna's show canceled, to their immense financial benefit. And they knew they did not have the legal right to cancel Chyna's show: All four defendants carried out their illegal activity in secret and repeatedly lied to Chyna's face."

Four members of the Kardashian-Jenner family, Kim and Khloe Kardashian and Kris and Kylie Jenner, appeared in court on Monday morning to witness the beginning of the jury selection.
All four members were in court on Tuesday again. Khloe and Kylie first showed up, Kim followed and then Kris.
During the jury selection process on Monday, Chyna's attorney asked potential jurors how they felt about the plaintiff and defendants, as well as their thoughts on the reality TV show.

"Anything that has to do with their names is just a big no for me," one man said. "I don’t think reality TV is good for society."
Another said, "I sincerely hope none of these people get any wealthier because of this."

"I don't think they were the best role models," she said. "I wouldn’t let her watch anything involving them."

Meanwhile, another potential juror claimed that he’d never watched "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" but said, "I have watched [Kim] Kardashian’s sex tape, and I don’t think I can be impartial on this case," according to Page Six.
Per the outlet, the man made another "sex tape" remark, which prompted Kris to shake her head and appeared to make Khloe visibly annoyed. Kim looked towards the front of the courtroom.
