Kanye West still in hospital: What we know

Kanye West has been in the hospital for over a week now, and reports are claiming the situation with the rapper is so serious he may not be released soon.
On Nov. 21, West was hospitalized after a reported meltdown at his personal trainer’s home. The hospitalization came after the star abruptly canceled the last 21 dates of his Saint Pablo tour.
According to TMZ, West was reportedly going to be released from the hospital Monday but has been struggling with paranoia and is not stable. Us Weekly reported that doctors said West “is in no shape to leave” while his wife Kim Kardashian tried to argue her husband “could recover at home.”

A source told The New York Post West is “mentally exhausted” from non-stop touring, work on his fashion and sneaker lines, plus the anniversary of the death of his mother Donda West on Nov. 10.
TMZ also reported that West’s paranoia is so bad he wouldn’t even let doctors touch him this weekend.
Kardashian reportedly has not left West’s side, sleeping and feeding her husband. E! reported that she was worried her husband “may have been taking on too much with all these shows… It was many things on his plate that started to pile up at once."

As West, 39, entered the hospital last week, Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian attended the Angel Ball in New York City — where Kim Kardashian was rumored to be set to make an appearance, but she quickly flew back to Los Angeles when news broke about West’s condition. When asked by reporters how the couple was doing, Jenner simply said, “they’re good.”
Singer John Legend, who is friends with West and Kim Kardashian, hinted something has been off with the rapper in recent weeks.
"We were with Kim, actually, you know, right before all of that… I was concerned by what I saw,” he told “CBS This Morning” last week. “Hopefully he's getting some rest and some time to figure things out."

On Nov. 21, Los Angeles police told The Associated Press that officers were called to a house on Laurel Avenue near West Hollywood for a disturbance at about 1:20 p.m. on Monday and declared it a medical situation instead. The police have said nothing about West’s hospitalization since.
Similarly, E!, which airs “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” has said little on the subject. An E! rep told the AP last week cameras were not rolling when the 911 call was made and that they were not filming at UCLA Medical Center. No further statement from the network was released.
Reps for Kim Kardashian and West did not return FOX411’s request for comment. E! declined to comment.
