"Merry Christmas from my family to yours" is the picture's caption. Simpson used a tweet on Halloween in 2011 to announce she was pregnant with Maxwell. She is engaged to Eric Johnson and gave birth to Maxwell in May.
One possible complication regarding her pregnancy: She is a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers.
Recently, details of Simpson’s weight loss hit the web, revealing the singer dieted on low-fat smoothies and vegetables to lose 50 pounds.

Simpson is making a reported $4 million for her Weight Watchers endorsement role, according to TMZ.
The new pregnancy will not have a huge impact on her deal with Weight Watchers, TMZ reported. A rep for the program told the website she "will not be following the program during the pregnancy while her weight and well-being are monitored by her obstetrician."
After she gives birth she will resume her Weight Watchers diet, according to TMZ.
