Justin Bieber says he and Hailey Baldwin saved sex for marriage

Hailey Baldwin may have taken her new husband Justin Bieber’s last name, but she says the decision to do so doesn’t alter her identity.

Baldwin — who changed her name to “Hailey Rhode Bieber” on Instagram a few months after the couple wed at a New York City courthouse in September — recently told Bustle that she wanted to add the “I’ll Show You” singer’s surname to her own because she felt like they were "becoming family.”

“I always wanted to add his name to mine because I feel like we're becoming family, and I’m a little traditional and old school like that. But I don’t take away my identity. He gets added to who I am,” she said.

The model also revealed she approached her father, Stephen Baldwin — whose famous brothers include Alec, William and Daniel — before making the change.

“I'm very proud of my family name," she said. "I come from a great family with a history in this industry. I remember when I was going to change it, I asked my dad if he was going to be upset and he was like, 'No! I don't care. We love you. All good, everyone still knows you're a Baldwin.' It's true!"

The news comes after Bieber recently revealed to Vogue he had a “legitimate problem with sex” and explained why he and Baldwin saved themselves for marriage after rekindling their romance in June.
