Back in January, Vanessa Hudgens lost her father to a battle with stage 4 cancer. Now, three months later, the actress has opened up to People Magazine about the death.
"It sucks, but death happens," said Hudgens. "It never makes it easier but it happens to all of us. It's just something we have to get through until we all meet again in heaven." She later added, "Life is about perspective. The way you choose to see your life is the way your life is going to become."

Hudgens learned of her father's death four hours before she was set to perform live on Fox's musical event of "Grease." Despite that, her appearance went down as one of the most praised of her career.
