After weeks of speculation, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton admit they are an item.

A representative for Shelton confirmed on Wednesday that the two stars are a couple. Stefani's rep said in a statement, "Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating."

Both Shelton and ex-wife Miranda Lambert attended Wednesday night's Country Music Association Awards in Nashville, Tennessee where they were at the receiving ends of divorce jokes.

While Shelton was laughing along in the audience to the lighthearted jokes, Lambert was nowhere to be seen after she walked the red carpet, debuting her pink hairdo.

After performing towards the end of the award show, Lambert took a seat near Luke Bryan and his wife Caroline before accepting female vocalist of the year.
